Pollo Campero Donates $25,000 for Earthquake Relief Efforts
Fast-casual chain Pollo Campero has donated $25,000 to Direct Relief to aid recovery efforts following earthquakes in Venezuela and Colombia. The contribution follows a national fundraising day for the cause.

Pollo Campero, the fast-casual restaurant chain, has donated $25,000 to Direct Relief to support ongoing earthquake recovery efforts in Venezuela and Colombia. The contribution was made following a national fundraising day held by the company on August 25.
The funds will be directed towards Direct Relief's work assisting healthcare providers caring for patients amidst damaged facilities and disrupted services. The donation reflects Pollo Campero's commitment to supporting communities in Latin America during crises. Earthquakes in Venezuela in June damaged hospitals, while an August earthquake in Colombia created urgent needs.
Direct Relief has provided over 11 tons of medical aid and $400,000 in emergency funding to healthcare providers in Venezuela. In Colombia, the organization supports locally-led medical response, including mobile medical teams and air transport delivering supplies to cut-off communities.
During the August 25 fundraising event, participating Pollo Campero locations donated 25 percent of sales from customers who mentioned the fundraiser at checkout. The company has also supported St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and engaged in other charitable initiatives.
