Pomerantz Files Class Action Lawsuit Against Alarum Technologies for Securities Fraud
Pomerantz LLP has filed a class action lawsuit against Alarum Technologies and its officers, alleging securities fraud. The suit stems from reports that the company's subsidiary engaged in illicit activities.

Pomerantz LLP has filed a class action lawsuit against Alarum Technologies Ltd. and certain of its officers and/or directors, alleging securities fraud and other unlawful business practices. Investors who purchased or acquired Alarum securities during the Class Period and suffered losses are advised to contact Pomerantz by October 5, 2026, to seek appointment as Lead Plaintiff.
The lawsuit arises from news reports published in July 2026. Reuters reported that Google, in partnership with the FBI, took action to disrupt a network of internet-connected devices used for malicious traffic, targeting Alarum's subsidiary NetNut and the Popa botnet. Following this, Alarum's ADRs fell 20.8% on July 2, 2026.
Further details emerged when Bloomberg reported that the FBI was investigating whether NetNut had linked customer home internet devices into a network without consent. The FBI reportedly seized multiple internet domains as part of an operation targeting NetNut's residential proxy platforms. This news caused Alarum's ADRs to fall an additional 61.85% over the next two trading sessions.
Pomerantz LLP, a firm specializing in corporate and securities litigation, is representing the investors. Information regarding the complaint and how to join the class action is available on the firm's website. Investors are encouraged to contact attorney Danielle Peyton for further details.
