Pomerantz Law Firm Investigates Emergent BioSolutions Investors' Claims
Pomerantz LLP is investigating potential securities fraud claims against Emergent BioSolutions Inc. The investigation follows the company's recent financial reporting, which included a significant asset impairment charge and a cut to revenue guidance.

The law firm Pomerantz LLP has initiated an investigation into Emergent BioSolutions Inc. The inquiry concerns allegations that the company and certain of its officers and/or directors may have engaged in securities fraud or other unlawful business practices.
The investigation was prompted by Emergent BioSolutions' financial results for the quarter ended June 30, 2026, reported on September 24, 2026. The company announced a non-cash impairment charge of $191.3 million on its NARCAN asset group, resulting in a GAAP net loss of $180.2 million. Additionally, Emergent BioSolutions lowered its full-year revenue guidance by approximately 10.8% at the midpoint.
Company management attributed the results to "increased competitive intensity with implications for our near to medium term outlook and the book value of our NARCAN asset group." Following this news, Emergent's stock price declined by $2.23 per share, or 29.58%, closing at $5.31 per share on August 6, 2026.
