Ponsse Oyj released its interim report for the January-September 2025 period on October 21, 2025.

In the third quarter (July-September), Ponsse Oyj's net sales amounted to EUR 172.7 million, a slight increase from EUR 169.3 million in the prior year. However, operating profit saw a significant decline to EUR 9.6 million (EUR 18.5 million), representing 5.6 percent of net sales, down from 11.0 percent.

For the January-September period, the company's net sales reached EUR 530.4 million, nearly unchanged from EUR 526.9 million in the previous year. Operating profit improved substantially to EUR 30.2 million (EUR 19.1 million), equating to 5.7 percent of net sales (up from 3.6 percent). Net result also saw a considerable rise to EUR 23.7 million from EUR 0.3 million in 2024. The company's order books stood at EUR 163.2 million, a decrease from EUR 199.1 million in the prior year.

President and CEO Juho Nummela stated that the forest machine market continued to weaken in the third quarter due to the geopolitical situation and uncertainty in consumer confidence. While new machine delivery volumes remained stable, sales of used machines increased, and maintenance service revenue stayed strong. The technology company Epec also reported continued net sales growth.

Ponsse Oyj estimates its euro-denominated operating profit for 2025 will be slightly higher than in 2024, when it was EUR 36.8 million. The company's equity ratio was 57.7 percent, reflecting a solid financial position.
