Ponsse recognized for forestry equipment innovations in Belgium
Forestry equipment manufacturer Ponsse received two innovation awards at the Démo Forest trade fair in Belgium. The awards recognized the company's firefighting equipment and its HH360 harvester head rotator.
Ponsse has received two main Innovation Awards at the Démo Forest trade fair held in Bertrix, Belgium, on July 28–29. The awards were presented for the company's firefighting equipment designed for forestry machines and its HH360 harvester head rotator.
Both the firefighting equipment and the harvester head rotator were featured on the event's Innovation Path, which highlighted nine innovative devices selected by the organizers in collaboration with the French FCBA Technological Institute.
The firefighting equipment, first introduced by Ponsse in 2020, was developed in cooperation with fire safety professionals. It is intended for installation on Ponsse forestry machines to enable rapid response to forest fires.
The HH360 harvester head rotator is designed to enhance the durability and usability of the harvester head in demanding conditions, relevant for contractors in the forestry sector.
