Construction company PORR AG has reported strong financial results for 2025, with significant growth in both revenue and profit. The company's order backlog also saw an increase, positioning it well for future development.

Vienna – PORR AG, a major construction firm, announced robust financial performance for the 2025 fiscal year, marked by substantial growth in earnings and a significant expansion of its order backlog. The company achieved an output of EUR 6.8 billion and revenue of EUR 6.3 billion.
Key financial highlights for 2025 include a profit of EUR 136.7 million, a 25.6% increase year-on-year. Earnings per share rose to EUR 3.00, up 29.3%. The order backlog grew by 11.7% to EUR 9.5 billion, driven by major projects in infrastructure and building construction across its core markets in Austria, Germany, Poland, and Romania.
Significant infrastructure projects contributing to the backlog include the refurbishment of the Pack tunnel chain in Austria and tunnels in Poland, alongside railway modernization projects in Poland and the Czech Republic. The company also secured building construction contracts for a pharmaceutical plant in Germany and an energy center in Poland, alongside several healthcare and residential projects.
PORR also reported a 22.5% reduction in its direct emissions (Scope 1 and 2) and a 12.9% decrease in value chain emissions (Scope 3) in the first year of its decarbonization plan. This was attributed to operational efficiency measures and increased use of renewable energy.
The company maintains a positive outlook for 2026, anticipating continued demand in transport infrastructure, energy supply, and digital networks, with public investment expected to boost the sector in Germany. PORR aims to leverage its infrastructure expertise and expanded building construction services for further growth.
