PORR AG is acting as the general contractor for the initial construction phase of the Aerial Port of Debarkation (APOD) at Wrocław-Strachowice Airport in Poland. This project represents one of four logistics hubs being developed under the Enhanced Defense Cooperation Agreement (EDCA) between Poland and the United States.

The contract, valued at approximately 100 million euros, includes the construction of aircraft aprons for C-5 Galaxy and C-130 Hercules transport planes, connecting taxiways, and facilities for military fire services and technical airport operations. The infrastructure is designed to facilitate the rapid movement and handling of personnel and military equipment.

CEO Karl-Heinz Strauss stated that the contract underscores the company's expertise in delivering security-critical infrastructure. The project is scheduled for completion in 2029, at which point the site will be fully certified for military flight operations.
