Porsche 911 GT3 Touring Updated with Subtle Styling
Porsche has updated its 911 GT3 Touring model, retaining its high-performance 4.0-liter engine and track-focused chassis within a more understated design.
Porsche has introduced an updated version of its 911 GT3 Touring, maintaining the model's focus on performance and driver engagement with a refined aesthetic.
The GT3 Touring adheres to the original concept of offering the GT3's performance hardware, including its naturally aspirated 4.0-liter flat-six engine and track-tuned suspension, but with a subtler appearance. This is achieved by replacing the standard GT3's fixed rear wing with the deployable spoiler found on other 911 variants, preserving the classic 911 silhouette.
Under the hood, the updated model continues to feature the 4.0-liter flat-six engine capable of reaching 9,000 rpm and producing 502 horsepower. Power is delivered exclusively to the rear wheels, paired with either a seven-speed PDK dual-clutch automatic transmission or a six-speed manual gearbox. Standard equipment includes high-performance brakes, rear-axle steering, and a GT3-specific suspension setup.
The GT3 Touring aims to provide a potent driving experience derived from its motorsport-oriented engineering, while offering a less aggressive visual package compared to the standard GT3.
