Porsche reported global deliveries of 178,532 new vehicles in the first nine months of 2026, marking a 16% decrease compared to the same period last year. This decline rate is consistent with the first half of the year.
The Chinese market experienced a significant drop, with deliveries falling by 33% to 21,493 units. North America saw a 13% decrease, and overseas and emerging markets were down 19%. Deliveries in Germany decreased by 7%.
Among specific models, the Cayenne saw a 2% decline in deliveries, totaling 59,586 vehicles. The Macan's deliveries decreased by 21%, while the 911 model recorded a 12% increase in deliveries.
The company recently unveiled its "Sportwagenschmiede '35" strategy, which aims to improve profitability through organizational restructuring, potentially reducing staff by up to 30%. The strategy also emphasizes an increased focus on larger sports cars and a return to internal combustion engine development.
