Porsche is reportedly working on a new Turbo GT variant of its electric Cayenne Coupe. Spy shots suggest the development of a higher-performance model within the existing electric Cayenne Coupe lineup.

The current electric Cayenne Coupe range, introduced earlier this year, includes the base Coupe (435 hp), the S Coupe (657 hp), and the Turbo Coupe (1139 hp). The upcoming Turbo GT is anticipated to utilize the same 113 kWh battery pack.

Industry analysis suggests the Turbo GT could produce over 1200 horsepower, potentially enabling it to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in approximately 2.4 seconds, with a top speed exceeding 162 mph. Exterior changes may include lightweight gloss black wheels and carbon-ceramic brakes, features previously offered as options on the Turbo Coupe.

Further details regarding the Turbo GT variant are expected as Porsche progresses with its development. This move aligns with the automotive industry's trend toward increasing electric vehicle performance capabilities.
