Practice Transitions Group Advises on Sale of Dr. Shel Wellness & Aesthetics Center

Practice Transitions Group (PTG) served as the sell-side advisor for the sale of Dr. Shel Wellness & Aesthetics Center in Houston. The acquisition marks the first entry into the Texas market for Bios Wellness Clinics and represents the firm's third acquisition in the U.S. within the last three months.

Founded by Dr. Shelena C. Lalji, the clinic has operated in the Houston area for over 20 years. Its service portfolio includes bioidentical hormone replacement, peptide therapy, and various aesthetic procedures. Additionally, the facility has served as a training center for emerging wellness and aesthetic technologies.

Lauren Wheeler, who led the engagement for PTG, stated that the transaction focused on identifying a partner capable of expanding the clinic's precision medicine approach. This deal adds to PTG’s portfolio of advisory work for healthcare practices, as the firm continues to facilitate transitions for medical and dental owners to strategic and private equity buyers.
