PRECISE and Temus Launch Precision Medicine Center in Singapore
Precision Health Research (PRECISE) in Singapore and AI firm Temus are establishing a joint innovation center for Phase III of the national precision medicine program. The collaboration aims to develop technology, data, and delivery capabilities.

Precision Health Research, Singapore (PRECISE), the body leading Singapore's National Precision Medicine programme, and Temus, a Singapore-based AI and digital transformation company, have signed a memorandum of understanding to establish a joint innovation center. This center will support Phase III of the national program, aiming to translate genomic research into healthcare applications.
The five-year collaboration, announced at the Precision Health Partnerships in Singapore event, will focus on building the necessary technology, data, and delivery capabilities. Phase III, scheduled to launch in November 2025, plans to sequence the genomes of approximately 10% of Singapore's resident population, totaling 450,000 individuals.
The new center will concentrate on developing secure genomics data infrastructure, as well as processes and safeguards for assessing and integrating emerging methods and technologies, including AI-enabled tools. This approach is intended to ensure data integrity and ethical handling of sensitive genetic information.
This initiative represents a significant step in Singapore's efforts to advance precision medicine. By combining PRECISE's research expertise with Temus' technological capabilities, the partnership seeks to accelerate the development of personalized healthcare solutions for the nation.
