Premier Inn Acquires Site Near Berlin's Ostbahnhof for New Hotel

Premier Inn is continuing its growth trajectory in Germany by acquiring a plot of land in Berlin's Friedrichshain district, near Ostbahnhof station. The location is close to the Uber Arena and East Side Gallery, and approximately a ten-minute walk from the renowned Berghain techno club.

The planned Premier Inn hotel is set to feature around 282 rooms, aiming to provide accommodation for both business travelers and tourists in one of Berlin's vibrant areas. The start date for construction has not yet been confirmed.

Premier Inn is part of the Whitbread PLC group, which owns several hotel and restaurant brands in the UK. The chain has been expanding across Europe in recent years, with Germany being a key market.

The company focuses on offering quality and affordable accommodation in central locations. The new hotel near Ostbahnhof aligns with Premier Inn's strategy to increase its presence in major European cities.
