Hotel chain Premier Inn has upgraded the ground floor spaces in a number of its hotels to better serve the needs of business travelers. The initiative aims to provide flexible and comfortable environments suitable for impromptu meetings, working on the go, and team catch-ups.
The hotel's communal areas, situated near reception and the bar, are accessible 24/7. These spaces are designed with open seating, comfortable chairs, complimentary Wi-Fi, and charging points, offering an alternative workspace outside of the guest rooms.
Food and beverages are available throughout the day, often through an on-site restaurant and bar facilities. This setup supports the use of these areas for both productive work sessions and relaxation after business activities.
Premier Inn has introduced a "Work, Meet, Connect" concept for these areas, with locations including hotels in Kings Cross, Blackfriars, and Angel in London already featuring these updated spaces. The chain seeks to enhance the overall accommodation experience for its corporate clientele.
