Hotel chain Premier Inn has reinforced its commitment to guest safety by introducing a series of measures designed to enhance security, especially for solo travelers.
The company emphasizes a multi-faceted approach to safety. Staff assistance is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, at all locations. Furthermore, nearly all Premier Inn hotels feature an on-site or adjacent restaurant, providing guests with convenient dining options and reducing the need to travel outside the hotel, particularly during late-night arrivals.
Specific protocols are in place for solo travelers. During check-in, room details are handed over discreetly, with room numbers not announced audibly at reception. Where possible, the chain avoids assigning rooms on the ground floor or at the end of corridors to vulnerable guests, including solo female travelers. All hotels are equipped with a door entry system, restricting access after 11 p.m. to guests only, and each bedroom door includes a deadlock or chain for added security.
