Hotel chain Premier Inn has published new research pinpointing the world's most beautiful flower fields. The study analyzed participants' eye movements as they viewed images of various floral landscapes globally. Locations where eyes lingered the longest were ranked as the most appealing.

Topping the list is the Torres del Paine National Park Daisy Flower Field in Chile, with images of its blooms receiving an average fixation time of 3.89 seconds. This South American destination is the sole representative from its continent in the top ten.

Europe performed strongly in the study, hosting four of the world's top ten flower fields. Coming in second is "Monet's Garden" at Giverny, France, with an average gaze of 3.46 seconds, a time matched by the Crested Butte Wildflower Festival in the USA.

Other notable destinations include Canada's Butchart Gardens, Germany's Mainau Island, Lake Tekapo in New Zealand, and India's Kaas Plateau. The Hitchin Lavender Farm in the UK, featuring sunflowers, also secured a spot in the top ten.

The research offers insights for travelers seeking visually stunning destinations. The popularity of flower fields has grown, partly due to their 'Instagrammable' nature and their capacity to provide a relaxing experience.
