Premier Inn has launched a hospitality training program in partnership with Hereward College in Coventry, aimed at providing students with disabilities with real-world work experience and potential employment.

The initiative features a three-bedroom "mini hotel" on the college campus, designed to replicate a functional hotel environment. Students learn various aspects of the hospitality industry, including guest relations and housekeeping, in a practical setting.

Justin Tomlinson, Minister for Disabled People, Work and Health, visited the facility to mark its six-month anniversary. He highlighted the benefits of an inclusive workforce and encouraged other employers to adopt similar programs.

The program aims to equip young people with the skills needed for careers in hospitality, with the goal of secured employment at Premier Inn hotels nationwide. A similar training facility is also operated by Premier Inn at Derwen College.
