Premier Inn has expanded its German hotel portfolio with the opening of a second property in Hannover. The Premier Inn Hannover City Centre adds 220 rooms to the city.
Hotel chain Premier Inn has opened a new hotel, the Premier Inn Hannover City Centre, in the heart of Hannover, Germany. This marks the brand's 66th hotel in Germany and its second in Hannover, underscoring the company's growth in the country.
The modern, ten-story hotel is situated in a central location, a short walk from the main train station and the city's shopping districts. The facility offers a total of 220 rooms, including 31 Premier Inn Plus rooms designed for enhanced guest comfort.
Erik Friemuth, CEO of Premier Inn Germany, highlighted the opening as a clear signal of the company's continued expansion trajectory in the German market. Mark Farrugia, Development Director at Citygrove, stated that Premier Inn's high quality standards and growth strategy align well with the property's central location.
The hotel's position in a vibrant urban neighborhood makes it attractive for both business and leisure travelers. Its proximity to the existing Premier Inn Hannover University is expected to create operational synergies and offer guests greater flexibility.
