Premier Inn to Open Hotel in Münster in 2029

British hotel brand Premier Inn is set to open a new hotel in Münster, Germany, as part of its ongoing expansion. The company has secured a location within the "Drei Schwestern" development project along the Dortmund-Ems Canal. The new Premier Inn Münster will feature 244 rooms spread across seven floors and is slated for opening in 2029.

The hotel's central location places it between the city's two harbor areas, offering convenient access to event venues like Halle Münsterland and Jovel, as well as the city harbor itself. With 74 parking spaces available in the building's garage and proximity to major roads, the location is well-suited for both business and leisure travelers.

Chris-Norman Sauer, Managing Director Property Germany & Austria at Premier Inn, stated that Münster is an economically strong and touristically attractive location that aligns well with the brand's network. He highlighted the high quality of stay and excellent connectivity offered by the harbor site.

The property owner, Grimm Holding GmbH, believes the hotel will enhance Münster's appeal to international guests and contribute to the positive development of the harbor area. The "Drei Schwestern" complex comprises buildings designed by three different architectural firms, forming a cohesive urban ensemble. Another building in the complex will house Grimm's Hotel & Boardinghouse, while the third is planned for a medical center.
