premiumXL Modernizes E-Commerce Fulfillment with Infios System
E-commerce company premiumXL has upgraded its logistics with Infios's warehouse management system, achieving a 20% increase in throughput and reduced error rates.

German e-commerce firm premiumXL, specializing in home and interior design products, has modernized its logistics operations by implementing Infios Warehouse Management (WM) and Shipping & Dispatch System (SDS). The goal was to enhance efficiency and reduce errors in a rapidly growing online retail environment.
Following the implementation across its distribution centers, premiumXL has seen a 20 percent increase in throughput. Additionally, labor dependency has decreased by 17 percent, and error rates have been significantly reduced. The company processes over one million orders annually for products across six proprietary brands.
The Infios WM and SDS solutions synchronize inventory management, picking, packing, and shipping in real time. The SDS also enables intelligent carrier selection to optimize costs and meet the service level agreements of various online marketplaces.
The deployment has markedly improved operational transparency and control. During peak periods such as Black Friday, the system has demonstrated its capability to handle high volumes stably and maintain high service levels.
"We have achieved measurable and sustainable improvements across our entire logistics operation," said Hermann Reklin, Director of Processes and People at H.T. Trade. "We are processing orders more efficiently, accelerating inventory turns, and minimizing errors. At the same time, onboarding new employees has become faster and more straightforward."
