The data indicates that link quality is paramount, with 94% of link builders prioritizing it over quantity. Pages ranking in Google's top 10 typically possess 3.8 times more backlinks than lower-ranking competitors. Furthermore, long-form content, defined as over 3,000 words, receives 3.5 times more backlinks compared to shorter articles.
Link building continues to be a significant challenge within the SEO industry, with 47.8% of professionals identifying it as the most difficult task. Despite these challenges, 58% of SEO experts believe link building will remain an essential component for improving search visibility.
