Pricer has been selected by Orange to digitalize the French telecommunications operator's retail store network. The agreement covers 561 stores over the next two years.

Pricer will supply its electronic shelf label (ESL) solution to Orange, a leading telecommunications operator in France, as part of a project to digitalize the company's retail store network. The agreement encompasses 561 stores across France, with an average size of 120 square meters, and is slated for completion over the next two years.

The full turnkey project includes the deployment of Pricer's ESL system, covering hardware, infrastructure, attachment solutions, installation, and cloud management via the Pricer Plaza platform. A long-term maintenance contract is also part of the deal, which includes annual recurring revenue from SaaS and maintenance services.

Orange selected Pricer following a rigorous evaluation process. The decision to digitalize its store network aligns with broader industry trends towards enhancing retail operations and improving customer experience through technology. Electronic shelf labels allow for rapid and accurate price updates across all locations, reducing manual labor and potential errors.

In the competitive telecommunications sector, efficient store operations and customer engagement are key. Digital price tags enable dynamic pricing and the display of targeted promotions within the physical retail space. This contract with Orange is expected to strengthen Pricer's market position in Europe.
