PrimeBOT Discusses Personal Robotics at UN's AI for Good Summit
Robotics firm PrimeBOT attended the UN's AI for Good Global Summit in Geneva, focusing on the role of personal robots in education and empowering human potential.

Robotics company PrimeBOT participated in the United Nations' AI for Good Global Summit in Geneva. The event, organized by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) with support from over 50 UN agencies, aimed to explore how artificial intelligence can serve human welfare.
PrimeBOT presented its concept of the "personal robot," defined as robots designed for homes and daily life, distinct from industrial production line robots. The company emphasized its participation in discussions on education, inclusion, and human potential, rather than solely showcasing technical specifications.
At the summit, PrimeBOT highlighted how personal robots can reshape AI education. Their Q1 model offers a programming interface where children can learn to choreograph robot movements, expressions, and speech, starting with block-based coding and progressing to Python. This approach aims to make the machine learning cycle tangible and engaging for young learners.
PrimeBOT intends for the Q1 to serve as an AI learning companion for families, complementing traditional education through hands-on, playful interaction. The company collaborates globally with youth and educational institutions to foster technology as a connector. It is also engaging in dialogues with educational and non-profit organizations in North America and Europe to explore the potential of personal robots in enhancing youth AI literacy.
