PrimeBOT showcased personal robots at the UN's AI for Good Summit in Geneva
Robotics firm PrimeBOT participated in the United Nations' AI for Good Global Summit held in Geneva on July 10, 2026. The summit, organized by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) with over 50 UN agencies, aimed to explore how AI can serve human welfare.
PrimeBOT introduced a new category at the event: personal robots. These robots are designed for home and daily life, intended for anyone to own, program, and create with, diverging from industrial production lines. The company stated its purpose was not to display technical specifications but to join a global conversation on education, inclusion, and human potential.
"Personal robots will reshape how AI is taught," PrimeBOT said. The company's Q1 model offers a coding environment for young learners. Children can start with block-based programming to choreograph robot movements, expressions, and conversational responses, then progress to converting blocks into Python code and training AI models to recognize gestures or objects. PrimeBOT envisions the Q1 as an AI learning companion for every family.
PrimeBOT aims to foster collaboration and integration where robots understand human needs and augment creativity. The company partners globally with youth and educational institutions. At the Geneva event, PrimeBOT prioritized education over spectacle, believing technology should enable the next generation to be AI creators, not just consumers.
PrimeBOT is in discussions with educational and non-profit organizations across North America and Europe to explore how personal robots can support youth AI literacy. The company describes this as a patient journey, not a product announcement, but a shared exploration with educators, parents, and children.
