PrimeBOT Robotics Receives Gold and Silver at A' Design Awards

PrimeBOT's personal robots, the Q1 and T1 models, have earned Gold and Silver awards, respectively, at the A' Design Awards ceremony held in Milan. These awards mark the first global recognition for the "Personal Robot" category, signaling a new direction for domestic robotics.

The company defines the "Personal Robot" as a distinct category separate from industrial or service robots. These robots are designed to integrate into human lives, acting as intelligent companions rather than task-specific machines confined to specific environments. They are intended to be portable and fit into everyday settings such as homes and study areas.

PrimeBOT's design philosophy, "For people, unlike people," moves away from mimicking human appearance. Instead, the robots feature minimalist geometry and an enclosed form that conceals mechanical parts. Soft curves and warm-touch materials are used to convey a sense of safety and comfort, allowing the robots to blend into home surroundings. Their movements are designed to be fluid and restrained.

The Q1 model stands at 80 cm tall and features an open-source outer shell that allows for 3D-printed customizations and swappable modules. The T1 model offers transformation capabilities between bipedal and quadrupedal modes, adhering to the same core design principles. PrimeBOT has initiated market development in North America and Europe, and the brand previously garnered five awards at CES 2026.

Following its success at CES, the A' Design Awards further validate PrimeBOT's focus on creating machines that serve and accompany individuals, emphasizing user experience and integration over mere technological display.
