PrimeBOT Wins Gold and Silver at A' Design Award

Milan, Italy – PrimeBOT's personal robots, models Q1 and T1, have achieved significant international recognition, securing gold and silver respectively at the prestigious A' Design Award ceremony held in Milan. This marks the first instance of global awards being presented for the personal robot category.

The awards were presented to the Q1 and T1 models, which embody PrimeBOT's distinct approach to personal robotics. Unlike traditional industrial or service robots designed for specific functions, PrimeBOT's robots are conceptualized as human-centric companions. They are intended to integrate into users' daily lives, providing service, connection, and enablement within domestic and personal environments.

PrimeBOT's design philosophy centers on creating devices that feel accessible and human without relying on synthetic faces or overly imitative forms. Instead, the Q1 and T1 utilize minimalist geometry and enclosed shapes that conceal mechanical structures. Crafted from warm-touch materials and soft curves, the robots aim to evoke a sense of comfort and reduce the perceived distance often created by technology.

The Q1 model stands at 80 cm, a height carefully calibrated to align with the natural social distance humans maintain. Its exterior shell is open-source, supporting 3D-printed customizations and interchangeable modules, allowing users to personalize their robot's appearance. The T1, a newer iteration, features the ability to transition between bipedal and quadrupedal modes while adhering to the same design principles for a home environment.

PrimeBOT has recently begun market expansion in North America and Europe. Following five 'CES Innovation Awards' in 2026, these latest accolades from Milan underscore the company's focus on design and user experience. The awards validate PrimeBOT's vision of creating machines that understand, serve, and accompany individuals in ways that foster genuine partnership.
