Princeton Digital Group secures $1.3 billion for Malaysia data center project
Singapore-based Princeton Digital Group has raised $1.3 billion in green financing to expand its JH1 data center campus in Johor, Malaysia.

Singapore-based data center operator Princeton Digital Group (PDG) announced on November 4 that it has secured approximately $1.3 billion in green financing. The funds are earmarked for the ongoing development of the company’s JH1 campus located at Sedenak Tech Park in Johor, Malaysia, which is slated to reach a capacity of 200 megawatts.
The financing package was underwritten by a consortium of banks, including Affin Bank, HSBC, Maybank, OCBC, Standard Chartered, and UOB. This transaction builds upon an earlier financing arrangement initiated in April 2024, which was subsequently expanded in October 2025. The site has previously utilized green debt, including a $280 million loan, to support its infrastructure phases.
The JH1 project has secured Green Building Index Gold certification for its design and LEED Gold certification for its operations. This latest capital injection supports PDG’s wider strategy, announced in March 2026, to raise up to $5 billion in debt to scale its data center infrastructure across the Asia-Pacific region.
