Printmedien Ennetsee transitions to digital printing with Canon
Swiss company Printmedien Ennetsee AG has fully transitioned to digital printing with Canon's varioPRINT iX3200 to shorten lead times and increase flexibility for market changes.
Printmedien Ennetsee AG, originally founded as a traditional offset printing company in Switzerland in 1991, has completed a full transition to digital printing. The company invested in Canon's varioPRINT iX3200 digital press, enabling shorter lead times and a quicker response to market shifts.
The company retired its last offset machine in 2020 and was the first in Switzerland to implement Canon's varioPRINT iX2100, a predecessor to the newer model. This move has helped the company better meet evolving customer demands that traditional offset printing could no longer fully satisfy.
Roman Nussbaumer, CEO of Printmedien Ennetsee, stated that the varioPRINT iX3200 has modernized their production process, increasing productivity and enhancing their ability to adapt to market dynamics. The shift to digital printing highlights the importance of maintaining competitiveness in the industry. Canon offers solutions like the varioPRINT iX3200 and ProStream 1000 series for advanced production printing needs.
