Private Club Approved for Construction in Boca Raton

A new private members' club, El Sanborn, has received unanimous approval from the Boca Raton Community Redevelopment Agency for construction at 100 NE First Avenue. The eight-story facility is scheduled to open in 2028, located opposite Sanborn Square.
El Sanborn will be the first private members' club in downtown Boca Raton. While specific details remain undisclosed, planned features include a speakeasy bar, a cigar lounge with member humidors, and a game room equipped with golf and Formula 1 simulators. The rooftop will offer a terrace with a pool, a lounge area, and fire pits, providing views of the city.
Beyond its facilities, El Sanborn plans to host private member events such as watch exhibitions, aquatic activity days, and community philanthropic efforts. Information regarding the club's restaurants and culinary leadership will be released in the coming months.
The club aims to provide a personalized experience for residents of Boca Raton and surrounding areas, with membership by application and invitation. Silver Street Hospitality is developing the dining and bar aspects, and the building's design is by HDA Architects.
