Private Jet Company OneFlight International Faces Fraud Allegations

OneFlight International, a private jet charter broker based in Englewood, Colorado, has suspended operations, prompting lawsuits alleging breach of contract and fraud. The company's sudden shutdown on September 16 has raised concerns among customers.
A Florida couple has filed a lawsuit seeking to recover over $815,000 in prepaid flight funds, alleging the company commingled customer funds with its general operating accounts and misused them. The suit claims the money financed the company's failing business operations and celebrity sponsorships.
This is the third lawsuit filed against OneFlight International. Previous legal actions have described the company's conduct as potentially resembling a Ponzi scheme, where new customer money is used to pay off earlier obligations. Another filing states the company solicited a $250,000 payment shortly before halting all flight activity.
OneFlight International had previously reported revenues of $232 million. The abrupt closure has led to fears that more than $150 million in prepaid travel funds may be lost. The situation has drawn scrutiny to the company's financial practices and operational stability.
