Proalpha Acquires Insiders Technologies to Boost AI Capabilities
Proalpha Group has acquired Insiders Technologies, aiming to enhance its AI solutions for cognitive process automation. The deal will integrate advanced AI capabilities into Proalpha's business applications for its enterprise clients.
Proalpha Group announced its acquisition of Insiders Technologies GmbH, a move designed to significantly expand its Industrial AI Platform with AI applications and services for digital document processing. This acquisition boosts Proalpha's AI expertise by adding 500 experts to its group, complementing existing companies like Nemo and Empolis.
Insiders Technologies, founded in 1998 as a spin-off from the German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence (DFKI), specializes in AI-based solutions for optimizing document-centric business processes. The company's technology includes intelligent document recognition and automated data extraction. Over 6,000 customers across industries such as manufacturing, retail, insurance, banking, and healthcare utilize Insiders' solutions.
The transaction is expected to strengthen Proalpha's collaborations with leading AI research institutions, including DFKI and Fraunhofer Institutes. Insiders' product portfolio will be deeply integrated into Proalpha's business applications, while also remaining available as standalone offerings for third-party systems. The completion of the deal is subject to standard regulatory approvals.
Eric Verniaut, CEO of Proalpha Group, stated that the company's Industrial AI Platform provides ready-to-use AI applications for industrial clients to implement directly within their value chains. He also highlighted 'Agentic AI' as a key aspect of future development.
