Proalpha Group establishes medical technology competence center
Proalpha Group and its user association are launching a dedicated medical technology competence center and working group to address the sector's specific demands.

Proalpha Group, a provider of business applications for the mid-sized manufacturing industry, is intensifying its focus on the medical technology sector. The company is establishing a new Competence Center Medizintechnik to better meet the specialized requirements of this highly regulated industry.
In parallel, the Proalpha Anwenderkreis (AWK) user association is initiating a regular working group dedicated to medical technology. This group will serve as a platform for exchanging best practices and industry-specific solutions. The first meeting is scheduled for March 18-19, 2025, in Berlin.
Michael Wüstemeier, President ERP at Proalpha, stated that the new competence center will consolidate the company's expertise to better serve medical technology clients and integrate industry-specific needs into their solutions. Proalpha also leverages its subsidiary Böhme & Weihs, which specializes in MES and quality management solutions relevant to the medical technology field.
These measures underscore Proalpha and AWK's commitment to the digital transformation of the medical technology industry. Further meetings for the user group's working group are planned.
