Proalpha Group Merges Böhme & Weihs and Enit

Weilerbach, Germany – Proalpha Group has merged its subsidiaries Böhme & Weihs and Enit. This strategic move aims to combine Böhme & Weihs' four decades of experience in Quality Assurance (CAQ) and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) with Enit's ten years of innovation in energy and CO2 management.

The objective is to create a unified digital Shopfloor solution for small and medium-sized industrial enterprises. The companies highlight that the integrated solutions will enable customers to intelligently manage peak electricity loads and reduce costs. Further synergistic benefits are expected, particularly in energy-optimized production control, which is increasingly critical due to rising energy costs and stricter sustainability regulations.

Enit will continue to operate as an independent product brand within Böhme & Weihs, focusing on energy and CO2 management. Böhme & Weihs will establish itself as a leading provider of digital Shopfloor solutions, offering customers real-time data on quality, machinery, processes, and energy consumption from a single source.

The combined entity will employ 200 staff. Pascal Benoit, founder and former CEO of Enit, will lead the Energy & CO2 Management business unit within Böhme & Weihs. The merger is anticipated to enhance transparency and control over production processes, providing customers with a competitive edge through optimized energy usage.
