Proalpha Integrates AI into ERP Platforms for Industrial SMEs

Proalpha Group is incorporating artificial intelligence into its enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems to assist industrial small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) with process optimization. The technology is designed to move beyond traditional business intelligence by providing predictive analysis and automated recommendations for operational workflows.

The system utilizes generative AI to facilitate internal knowledge transfer, allowing employees to access company-specific information across departments more efficiently. By training these models on internal data, the platform aims to streamline customer inquiries and digitize technical documentation.

In manufacturing contexts, the software applies machine learning to historical data to forecast raw material demand and identify production bottlenecks. CTO Björn Goerke noted that the quality of data preparation is the primary factor in determining whether companies can maintain a competitive edge in global markets.

Beyond forecasting, the integrated AI is used for inventory management and MRP parameter control, such as setting order quantities and safety stock levels. The goal is to reduce manual intervention in routine tasks and improve the quality of strategic business decisions.
