Proalpha supports Caritas homeless support center in Kaiserslautern
Software firm Proalpha has donated 4,500 euros to the St. Christophorus center to aid in providing essential services to the local homeless population.

Proalpha has continued its long-standing corporate social responsibility efforts by donating 4,500 euros to the St. Christophorus center in Kaiserslautern. The facility provides emergency shelter and support services to approximately 110 residents, ranging in age from 16 to 75.
Peter Lehmann, head of the Christophorus home, stated that the funds are designated for residents' welfare, including vouchers for haircuts, the organization of social events to promote community, and the purchase of medication for residents without health insurance. These services have become increasingly critical as the facility expanded its capacity during the pandemic.
In collaboration with city authorities, the center has adjusted its stay duration policies to accommodate those in need during the winter and pandemic-related shutdowns. Lehmann noted that despite the operational challenges, adherence to hygiene protocols has allowed the center to maintain safe, long-term housing for its residents.
