Procter & Gamble Provides Disaster Relief to Hurricane Isaias Survivors in Florida

Procter & Gamble (P&G) has activated its disaster relief program to support residents in Florida's Panhandle affected by Hurricane Isaias. The company is providing free mobile laundry services through the Tide Loads of Hope unit, in partnership with Matthew 25: Ministries. Additionally, shower facilities and personal care products are being offered at temporary sites set up in Pensacola and Pace.

The relief operations are centered at two Walmart Supercenter locations, where P&G is also distributing hygiene items and cleaning supplies from its brands, including Pantene, Olay, and Old Spice. Services are available daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. CST, or until capacity is reached, commencing October 12. The goal is to quickly provide necessary assistance and restore a sense of normalcy to an area that experienced widespread damage, power outages, and flooding from the storm.

P&G's disaster relief efforts aim to deliver essential services and products that aid affected communities in their recovery. The mobile laundry and shower units include ADA-compliant facilities. The company has collaborated with the humanitarian organization Matthew 25: Ministries and retailer Walmart to facilitate the delivery of aid.

P&G's long-standing commitment to supporting disaster-stricken areas spans over a century. The company seeks to bring comfort and a sense of routine to people during difficult times through its products and services.
