Projekt Schwarz-Weiß Donates Acupressure Device to Kenyan Care Home
Projekt Schwarz-Weiß e.V. has donated a second infrared acupressure device to the Makobe disability home in Shimba Hills, Kenya. The device is intended to supplement the children's daily physiotherapy.

German organization Projekt Schwarz-Weiß e.V. delivered a second infrared acupressure device in January 2012 to the Makobe disability home located in Shimba Hills, Kenya. The donation was made possible by the Kolpingsfamilie organization in Mietingen.
The device was handed over on January 5, 2012, when two of the children, Neema and GG, returned home from their holidays. The home's manager, Naomi, and her staff were instructed on the device's use. The unit is described as simple to operate and is expected to benefit all 28 children with disabilities at the facility as a support for their daily physiotherapy.
Projekt Schwarz-Weiß e.V. previously reported on a similar donation to another institution, the Nice View home. According to the organization's website, the donated devices serve as a supportive measure to complement rehabilitation programs. Reports from the Makobe home indicate that the children receive loving care despite their disabilities.
