Provet, a practice management software utilized by over 55,000 veterinary professionals across 45 countries, has launched its latest system designed for artificial intelligence integration. This offering is presented as the first comprehensive veterinary practice management system (PIMS) built with AI agents to assist with operations including booking, treatment, billing, and general management.
The new system features functions branded as Provet Agents. These AI tools are intended to allow various clinic roles to query operational data about the practice using natural language. The goal is to streamline how staff access and utilize practice information.
A dedicated Clinical AI Agent is designed to transcribe spoken veterinary consultations into structured notes, capturing vitals, diagnoses, and orders. This functionality aims to reduce the documentation burden on veterinary teams, enabling them to allocate more time to direct patient care.
