Provident Industrial Breaks Ground on Distribution Center Near Tucson Airport

Provident Industrial, a division of Dallas-based real estate development and investment firm Provident, has broken ground on a new distribution center near Tucson International Airport.

The company acquired 10 acres in Tucson, Arizona, for the development of Valencia Airport Center, a ±163,000-square-foot Class A distribution facility. The project is strategically located near Tucson International Airport, aiming to capitalize on the region's growing logistics sector.

The facility is scheduled for completion in the first quarter of 2027. It will feature modern warehouse specifications, including high clear heights, ample dock doors, and a layout designed for efficient logistics operations. The location also provides convenient access to major regional transportation routes, facilitating the movement of goods.

Provident's expansion in the Southwest is part of its strategy to grow in key logistics markets. The firm has previously developed similar properties in other U.S. regions.
