Provinzial upgrades print infrastructure with Canon technology
Insurance firm Provinzial Rheinland has overhauled its printing and mailing operations by deploying Canon’s digital print solutions.

Düsseldorf-based insurer Provinzial Rheinland has modernized its document production capabilities, upgrading its print and dispatch center with Canon’s digital printing technology. The facility manages a high-volume output of 100 million printed items and 20 million envelopes annually, which previously required manual intervention that the new systems have now streamlined.
By integrating automated workflows, Provinzial reports significant cost reductions and improved turnaround times for both internal and external documentation. The transition to digital systems also enables on-demand color printing and more precise, target-group-oriented communication strategies.
Andrea Rabus, head of In- & Output Management at Provinzial Rheinland, stated that the higher degree of automation has directly contributed to improved print quality and greater operational flexibility, allowing the organization to expand its service capacity.
