prudsys AG Renames to GK Artificial Intelligence for Retail AG

prudsys AG has officially changed its name to GK Artificial Intelligence for Retail AG, effective September 1, 2022, following a resolution at its annual general meeting on August 29. The name change is expected to be formally registered in the commercial register by mid-September.

GK Software SE has held majority shares in prudsys AG since 2017, fostering a close strategic partnership. prudsys AG's AI solutions are integral to GK's CLOUD4RETAIL platform, which offers cloud-based solutions for retailers aiming to meet sales, efficiency, and sustainability targets through artificial intelligence.

The companies will collaborate more closely on solutions for retail and e-commerce businesses following the name change. Joint developments in hyper-personalization and dynamic pricing are already underway.

The new brand identity will be presented at the DMEXCO trade fair in Cologne on September 21. GK Artificial Intelligence for Retail AG, formerly prudsys, was founded in 1998 as a spin-off from Chemnitz University of Technology and was an early developer of AI applications for e-commerce.
