PSHRA Appoints 2027 President-Elect Shawn Aulgur

The Public Sector HR Association (PSHRA®) has elected Shawn Aulgur, PSHRA-CP, as the Association's 2027 President-Elect. Aulgur will serve in this capacity leading up to the presidential term beginning in 2027.

The announcement was made in Alexandria, Virginia, on September 14, 2026. PSHRA® is an organization dedicated to supporting and representing human resources professionals working within the public sector across the United States. Its mission focuses on advancing best practices and professional development in public sector HR.

In his role as President-Elect, Aulgur will join the PSHRA® Executive Council. This council is responsible for the strategic direction and oversight of the Association's activities. The President-Elect designation involves active participation in the organization's affairs prior to assuming the presidency.

PSHRA® regularly elects members to its leadership positions to ensure continuity and representation within the organization. The incoming President-Elect is expected to bring valuable insights and expertise to the executive leadership team.
