Publicis Groupe: 2015 Results Show Growth, Free Cash Flow Exceeds 1 Billion Euros
Advertising and communications firm Publicis Groupe announced its 2015 full-year results, reporting a 32% increase in revenue and a free cash flow that exceeded 1 billion euros for the first time.

Publicis Groupe, a global leader in advertising and communications, reported its financial results for the full year 2015, marked by substantial growth. The company's consolidated revenue increased by 32.3% to reach 9.6 billion euros. This growth was significantly influenced by acquisitions and favorable exchange rates.
The firm's free cash flow surpassed the 1 billion euro mark for the first time in its history, showing a 31% increase year-over-year. The operating margin stood at 15.5%, achieved despite the dilutive effect of acquisitions and considerable restructuring costs. Net income saw a 25% rise.
In the fourth quarter of 2015, revenue grew by 27.2% compared to the same period in the previous year, with organic growth reaching 2.8%. This performance was bolstered by strong dynamics in digital activities and the North American market. Digital operations experienced organic growth of 8.8% during the quarter.
Amidst ongoing transformation and integration efforts, including the significant Sapient acquisition completed in February 2015, the company highlighted its efforts to adapt to evolving client needs and market digitalization. CEO Maurice Lévy described 2016 as a transition year focused on laying the groundwork for further expansion in 2017.
