Paris – Advertising and communications group Publicis Groupe announced on May 21, 2025, its acquisition of influencer marketing platform Captiv8. The acquisition is intended to bolster the company's global influencer technology offerings and integrate them with its existing Influential service and Epsilon's data technology.

Captiv8 is described as a global influencer technology platform that claims to cover 95% of influencers with over 5,000 followers worldwide. The platform utilizes AI-powered tools to unify, manage, and measure content across 120 countries, processing over 2.5 billion social media posts annually.

Through this acquisition, Publicis Groupe will combine Captiv8's global network and technology with Influential's services. The resulting combined influencer platform is intended to become the world's largest, connecting brands with over 15 million creators. This is expected to allow companies to reach a broader audience and measure influencer campaigns with greater precision.

Publicis Groupe aims to establish a "one-stop-shop" for its clients' influencer marketing needs. Stated goals include improving brand safety, ensuring brand-influencer alignment, and providing transparent measurement of campaign business impact. Captiv8's technology will be integrated into the Publicis Connected Media division.
