Publicis Groupe Appoints Loris Nold as Group Chief Financial Officer

Publicis Groupe, a global leader in communication and digital transformation, announced the appointment of Loris Nold as its new Group Chief Financial Officer. Nold will assume his responsibilities in February 2024, succeeding Michel-Alain Proch, who will depart the company after presenting the 2023 financial results. Nold currently serves as the CEO of Publicis Groupe's operations across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA).

The company stated that Nold's appointment is expected to enhance the finance department with his extensive financial expertise and operational understanding. His background includes a career in investment banking and over two decades within Publicis Groupe, where he has managed mergers and acquisitions and led key global operations, including a significant transformation of the group's business in the APAC region.

Publicis Groupe highlighted Nold's deep knowledge of the group's business and client needs as crucial for maintaining the company's strong financial performance. The group has consistently reported robust financial ratios within the advertising industry.

In a related move, Demet Ikiler, currently COO of the EMEA region, will take over as General Manager for EMEA. The international hubs of France and the UK, along with the United States, will now report directly to Arthur Sadoun, Chairman and CEO of Publicis Groupe.
