Publicis Groupe Appoints New Leadership for Marcel AI Platform
Publicis Groupe has named Scott Hagedorn as CEO and Sam Levine Archer as Chief Strategy Officer of its Marcel agentic growth platform.

Publicis Groupe has appointed a new leadership team to oversee the expansion of Marcel, its AI-driven activation platform. Scott Hagedorn, formerly the group's Chief Solutions Architect, will serve as CEO, while Sam Levine Archer, previously Chief Solutions Officer, assumes the role of Chief Strategy Officer.
Since its launch in 2017, Marcel has transitioned from an internal networking tool into a core component of the group's AI-powered marketing model. The new leadership will focus on scaling the platform by integrating proprietary data from Epsilon, Publicis Sapient, and Lotame to create customized AI-agent solutions for clients.
Beyond basic workflow automation, the platform aims to identify business opportunities through influencer marketing, sports, and content intelligence. Hagedorn and Archer are tasked with developing a new generation of growth solutions that allow clients to leverage AI while maintaining data ownership and control.
