Publicis Groupe announced a strong financial performance for 2007, fulfilling its 2008 strategic objectives a year in advance. The company's revenue grew by 6.5% to EUR 4.67 billion, while the operating margin reached 16.7% of revenue, up from 16.3% in 2006.

The company highlighted its significant business transformation towards digital services and fast-growing markets. Digital services alone accounted for 15% of revenue, with marketing services and digital combined representing 36% of total revenue. Organic growth stood at 3.1%, a figure impacted by the pharmaceutical sector; excluding this segment, growth was 4.3%.

Chairman and CEO Maurice Lévy credited the teams for the results, achieved amidst global economic uncertainty and internal transformation efforts. He stated the group is better equipped than competitors to guide clients through the evolving market landscape.

Dividend per share increased by 20% to EUR 0.60. Publicis Groupe also completed a share cancellation and buy-back program. For 2008, the company anticipates challenges such as a slowdown in the US economy but also sees opportunities in events like the Beijing Olympics and the continued growth of the digital sector.
