Publicis Groupe Names LATAM Leadership, Expands Country Model to Mexico

Paris – Publicis Groupe has announced new leadership appointments for its Latin America region as part of its ongoing implementation of a country-led model across eight key global markets. The move is intended to break down silos, enhance cross-fertilization, and leverage the "Power of One" organizational structure for client solutions.

Monica Gadsby, previously CEO of Publicis One LATAM, has been appointed to the newly created role of CEO of Publicis Groupe for the entire LATAM region, now including Mexico. Gadsby has been a long-standing leader within the Groupe, contributing to consistent growth for its brand agencies in the area.

Alejandro Cardoso, President and CEO of Publicis Communications Mexico, is appointed Regional Executive Chairman. In this role, he will focus on the Groupe's growth strategy, top client relationships, and strategic initiatives such as mergers and acquisitions. Cardoso will collaborate with Gadsby to integrate the client-centric "Power of One" model.

The Groupe is also implementing its country model in Mexico under Marta Ruiz-Cuevas, CEO of Publicis Media Mexico, who is appointed CEO of Publicis Groupe in Mexico. Since launching Publicis Media in 2016, Ruiz-Cuevas has been instrumental in driving transformation and growth for its agency brands in the country.

Publicis Groupe is a global leader in communications, focused on marketing transformation and digital business transformation. The company operates in over 100 countries and employs approximately 114,000 professionals.
