Publicis Groupe Raises 2023 Forecasts After Strong Q3 Performance
Advertising and communications group Publicis Groupe has raised its full-year financial guidance for 2023. The company reported robust organic growth of 5.3% in the third quarter, exceeding expectations.

Publicis Groupe, a global leader in communication services, has upwardly revised its financial forecasts for 2023 following a strong third quarter. The company announced organic growth of 5.3% for the period, surpassing its own expectations.
The revised guidance now projects organic growth between 5.5% and 6% for the full year, an increase from the previous estimate of around 5%. The operating margin is expected to reach 18%, and free cash flow is anticipated to be close to €1.7 billion. Key drivers for this performance included the company's media and data services (Epsilon), as well as its digital transformation arm, Publicis Sapient.
Geographically, Europe showed significant growth at 10.7% organically. North America contributed with 3.2% growth, while the Asia-Pacific region saw a 3.8% increase. Publicis highlighted that its third-quarter performance represented a 22% increase compared to the same period in 2019, indicating substantial growth trajectory since the pre-pandemic era.
The company attributes its success to a unique business mix and a platform-based organization. Publicis Groupe is focusing on integrating artificial intelligence across its operations and encouraging in-person collaboration among its teams.
