Publicis Groupe Reports 7.1% Organic Growth in Q1 2023
Publicis Groupe announced a 7.1% organic growth for the first quarter of 2023, exceeding expectations. The company reaffirmed its full-year 2023 financial targets despite a more uncertain economic climate.

Publicis Groupe began 2023 with a strong first quarter, reporting 7.1% organic growth. This performance surpassed expectations, following a robust 10.5% organic growth in the same period of 2022.
The company's net revenue saw a reported increase of 10%. Epsilon and Publicis Sapient were key contributors, with organic growth rates of 10% and 11% respectively. The United States market continued its positive trend with 5.8% organic growth, while Europe showed accelerated growth at 12.3%. China also delivered solid growth of 3.7%.
Despite a more uncertain global macroeconomic environment, Publicis Groupe reaffirmed all its 2023 financial objectives. The company now anticipates its organic growth for the full year to be in the upper half of its previously stated range of 3% to 5%.
CEO Arthur Sadoun highlighted the company's unique portfolio, with a third of its revenue coming from data and technology. He stated that this differentiation, particularly through Epsilon and Publicis Sapient, allows Publicis Groupe to gain market share and outperform competitors, as evidenced by a strong performance in new business wins.
